Charlotte + Scott Wokefield Park wedding film

Charlotte + Scott Wokefield Park wedding film

26th August 2016 Scott & Charlotte – Filmed at Wokefield Park, Berkshire

Scott and Charlotte’s wedding at Wokefield Park in Berkshire was a fabulous, vibrant day. Beginning with a parade of vintage sports cars for the groom and his party to arrive in, the tone was set for a fun but elegant day. The stately setting of Wokefield Park was perfect for this couple’s light-hearted but thoroughly romantic commitment to each other. While getting ready for her big day, Charlotte received a letter from Scott that enclosed a heart locket, to remind her of the first time he told her that he loved her, in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris: “I knew from that moment that this day would come.”

Charlotte wore a beautiful strapless gown with sweetheart neckline and intricate lace detail, her gently curled hair falling to her shoulders. Her bridesmaids were in deepest indigo with exquisite beading at the shoulders and dainty sparkles in their hair. They carried cream rose bouquets to match the bride’s, which also had purple roses peeking through. The bride’s father had special ‘Father of the Bride’ socks and matching cufflinks!

The ceremony was a heart-warming and simple affair, with a tiny young ring-bearer tasked with the honour of presenting the groom with the all-important rings. At the moment the couple was able to take their first kiss as husband and wife, Charlotte admitted to her groom “my legs are like jelly!” Luckily, she now had a husband to support her as they walked down the aisle together. Outside, the beaming couple was showered with cream and crimson rose petals which gathered spectacularly on Charlotte’s skirt as extra decorative features for her already stunning gown. After a reception in a grand banquet hall, complete with touches of indigo to decorate the chairs and tables, the couple cut their indigo and white tiered cake, adorned with white sugar flowers. The dancing could then begin, and the night was topped off by a parade of glittering sparklers outside, a fitting end to a glorious day and the beginning of the couple’s magical life together.

Joanne + Rob A Wasing Park wedding film, Berkshire

Joanne + Rob A Wasing Park wedding film, Berkshire

9th July 2016 Joanne & Rob – Filmed at Wasing Park, Berkshire

Joanne and Rob’s glorious wedding on a warm July day in Berkshire was a joy to witness. The setting at Wasing Park was rustic but elegant, the natural splendor of the barns and surrounding gardens a perfect reflection of the couple’s understated but enduring commitment to one another. Joanne looked the epitome of regal grace in a fitted gown by Allure Couture, with little capped sleeves, made all the more exquisite by a stunning lace overlay. The outfit was completed by spectacular duck-egg Manolo Blahniks adorned with subtle jewels. Her blonde locks fell gentle past her shoulders, with a delicate braided crown at the back decorated with pink roses. She wore a short, light veil which contrasted beautifully with the lace of her gown.

Joanne’s bridesmaids were in pale, duck-egg blue, off-the-shoulder gowns, with sprays of baby’s breath peeking out from their curls. Last but not least, Joanne’s sweet little flower girl was in simple but stunning white, complete with a flower crown of roses in her hair.

During the ceremony, the couple seemed barely to be able to believe their luck, and kept stealing glimpses at each other throughout. When they were pronounced husband and wife, they could fully embrace the moment with their first kiss.

Outside, drinks and canapés were served on the sprawling lawn, while the bridal party migrated to a small, exquisite gazebo in the garden and were presented with dainty gifts- Links jewellery for Joanne’s lovely supportive ladies. There was a classic London cab with a quirky twist available for the guests to enjoy- covered in graffiti and transformed into a mobile photo booth, the wedding party enjoyed making use of the wide array of fun props to record happy memories of the day. After the reception, the couple cut their beautiful wedding cake from Sam’s Delight- a four tiered masterpiece in duck-egg blue and gold with cream rose petals piped along the base. They then danced the night away in the sea of reflected disco ball lights. It was a truly fabulous day filming alongside Studio Rouge Photography, and I am certain that they will enjoy a wonderful, happy life together.

Catherine & Pietro Wokefield Park wedding video Blog

Catherine & Pietro Wokefield Park wedding video Blog

It was a truly beautiful day when Catherine and Pietro joined their hands in marriage on the 7th of August in two-thousand fifteen. This handsome couple got married surrounded by their best friends and family, a fact that was evident in how much joy was shared in the toasts to the couple, and how happy everyone wishes for them to be.

“In Catherine I have found my life partner,” Pietro says, just barely able to keep the emotion from his voice. “I wouldn’t be complete unless I had Catherine by my side, as my wife.”

We really enjoyed taking the video for this wedding, because it was just amazing to watch this beautiful couple prepare for and get married. The sweet moments were captured by the skilled photographer Mark Seymour, including the delicate process of buttoning all of the tiny buttons down the back of her exquisite Emma Louise wedding dress and putting on her Jimmy Choo shoes. Catherine made for a stunning bride, her green eyes and natural beauty enhanced by just a hint of makeup. Her beautiful smile was so bright on this day, and it only got brighter when she saw Pietro waiting for her at the end of the aisle. Their wedding party was small, just a couple bridesmaids and groomsmen, which just enhanced how special the day was, and how important those people were to be included. The bridesmaids wore a soft champagne colour, a colour reflected in the pale mauve roses that Catherine carried. Pietro’s expression, on seeing Catherine join him at the altar, was one of excitement and overwhelming emotion. Both Catherine and Pietro could barely contain their nerves, alternately looking as if they might release a tear and breaking into giggles. Pietro may have been a little nervous as he slid the wedding band onto Catherine’s finger, a charming moment I was so happy to capture. It’s a moment they will remember for the rest of their lives. The reception featured lovely décor on tables charmingly named after delicious cocktails, and a red carpet entrance, making sure every guest felt special. The celebration took place at Wokefield Park, a gorgeous venue that has since tragically burned down. We sincerely hope it has since been rebuilt, as there should be many more weddings held at this beautiful estate.

We are sincerely thrilled to wish Catherine and Pietro congratulations and hope that they will have many years of happiness to come.

Nikki & Martin Crowne Plaza wedding Video

Martin & Nikki Crowne Plaza wedding Video Reading, 14th of June 2014

As a film maker I always hope everything goes right, yet despite the many wedding video Berkshire I have filmed, it’s rare that things go as smoothly for the couple as they did for Martin and Nikki. Everything about this wedding was perfect from the stunning summer dawn to their lively send off.

Nikki and Martin opted for a traditional ceremony in the village of Waltham St Lawrence. The parish church dates back to the 1200s and is brimming with photogenic details like vaulted wooden ceilings and an ornately carved screen. Nikki’s ruffled chapel length train looked incredible as she made her way down the aisle towards a very excited, if slightly nervous, Martin. The flowers around the church perfectly complemented the deep purple bridesmaids’ dresses. It looked like a set from a Richard Curtis film.

In a luxurious touch, a Bentley Continental took the newlyweds to their reception at the Crowne Plaza Reading where the sun shone on the guests as they enjoyed champagne and a fantastic view of the River Thames. The purple theme continued into the dining room where place cards were attached to light bulb vase favours with floating flowers, and large vases of vivid orchids and candles dotted the tables. The five tier wedding cake was a real “wow” feature, being decorated with a cascade of roses and lilies in cream, pink, and mauve. It was obvious a lot of thought had been given to the colours and it was a beautiful effect.

One of my favourite parts of making any wedding video is the couple’s first dance. Martin showed characteristic panache as he twirled and dipped his new wife with flair, and it was a happy group of guests who waved the couple off onto their American honeymoon. It was a fantastic wedding and I wish Mr and Mrs Chandler every happiness in their new life together.

Lesley & Chris Wasing Park Wedding video

Lesley & Chris a Wasing Park Wedding video, 22nd of February 2014

With two gorgeous children of their own there was never any doubt that Lesley and Chris’ event would be as much a celebration of family as a wedding ceremony. Wasing Park was a fantastic choice for a winter wedding and I had a great time making this wedding video Berkshire. The couple couldn’t have wished for a better day. The sun was shining, the crocuses were in flower and daffodils were just starting to break through to signal the start of spring. It was everything an English country wedding video could be.

Lesley gave a lot of thought to the comfort of her bridesmaids and mum, kitting them all out with personalised bathrobes and slippers as they were made up by the team at Beauty by Katrina. Wasing Park offers a choice of ceremony venues and it was a beautiful and excited bride who walked across the gravel path to the 15th Century St Nicholas’ church.

After the vows the guests were free to enjoy the stunning parkland of the Wasing Park Estate – a backdrop which made the job much easier for photographer Studio Rouge and me. Guests tucked into mini burgers and cute cones of fish and chips in The Castle Barn, which had been decorated with all white flowers by Cherubs Floral Design. The centrepiece was a stunning five tiered cake in pure white by Cakes by Shelly. The effect was soft yet dramatically romantic and an effective contrast to the rustic brick and wooden interior. The idea of replacing a traditional guest book with a fingerprint picture was a fun way to create a memory that will be displayed rather than tucked away in a drawer.

I really enjoyed filming this Wasing Park wedding video with a reception as fun as this. Lesley and Chris struck a great balance between elegance and comfort, creating a delightful atmosphere where the kids, including their children Molly and Albie, could enjoy the party as much as the adults. It was a treat to work with such a lovely family.

Adam & Nina Oakley Court wedding video

Adam & Nina Oakley Court wedding video, 9th June 2012

Oakley Court wedding venue is a gorgeous country house in the Gothic style, situated on the banks of the River Thames between Maidenhead and historic Windsor in Berkshire.  A fantastic day to have had the pleasure of filming Adam and Nina’s wedding day with sunshine, water and boats a great location by the Thames. If the house looks familiar Oakley Court gained a certain level of notoriety during the 60s and 70s thanks to its location next to Bray Studios. The building was used as a film set for several Hammer Horror films, including Dracula, as well as being used as Frank N Furter’s castle in the cult classic Rocky Horror Picture Show.
