Stephanie + Eddie Caswell House wedding film

Stephanie + Eddie Caswell House wedding film

26th November 2016 Stephanie & Eddie– Filmed at Caswell House, Oxfordshire

On a crisp November day, I was thrilled to document the wedding of Stephanie and Eddie, in a winter wonderland celebration at Caswell House that mirrored the couple’s love of the outdoors, particularly of the snow! As an Olympic Mogul skier, Eddie was thrilled to discover that Stephanie could not only keep up with him on the slopes but also matched his enthusiasm and sense of adventure during their first trip to Switzerland together. Their wedding, although missing the element of real snow (Oxfordshire wasn’t quite able to recreate the white peaks of Switzerland) still had the feel of a classically elegant celebration with the simple cleanness of a winter’s morning on the piste.

Stephanie’s jaw-dropping gown was fit for a queen, in shimmering satin with an asymmetric design and glorious full skirt. Her hair was gathered delicately in a regal yet soft style, with a halo of gentle curls around her face. Her two flower girls were angelic in white, with mini fur shrugs, and they made a very charming pair as they slowly made their way up the aisle ahead of Stephanie’s arrival, placing petals on the floor one by one! The guests were enchanted by the two little girls, who eventually reached the end of the aisle and enabled Stephanie to begin her own important journey with her new husband.

Eddie and Stephanie gazed in adoration at each other during their short and sweet ceremony and emerged as husband and wife with beaming smiles. At their reception, Eddie thanked his new bride for making him “a better version of myself” and graciously thanked her father for inviting him officially into the family. The couple’s wedding cake was aptly graceful in icy blue, with five enormous tiers and a layer of blue icing ruffles at the base. Their first dance was upbeat and incorporated a fun routine- Eddie, in particular, showed off his superstar moves! It was a joyful occasion from start to finish, and I wish the couple many happy adventures both on the ski slopes and off!

Rebecca + Andrew Caswell House wedding film

Rebecca + Andrew Caswell House wedding film

17th September 2016 Andrew & Rebecca – Filmed at Caswell House, Oxfordshire

“Rebecca is quite literally the best person I know.”

Rebecca and Andrew’s wedding at Caswell House in Oxfordshire was a delightful celebration of the love between these two special people. Their families and friends gathered to witness a charming and heartfelt union between the pair, who first met in an Irish sports bar, and the celebration brought together guests from the many different walks of life that the two have shared. There were tributes to New York in particular throughout the ceremony, from the fun Big Apple and Statue of Liberty props, to the table names laid out in a map of Manhattan.

Rebecca wore a stunning off-the-shoulder gown with lace detail and a flared mermaid skirt, with delicate scalloped edges. Her glittery peep-toe Jimmy Choos and dainty tiara completed the glamour of her outfit. Her bridesmaids were elegant in dusty pink infinity gowns, matching the pink ties and button holes of the groomsmen. Rebecca’s father admitted in his toast that he was rather choked up when he first saw how exquisite she looked on her big day, and Andrew was also evidently blown away judging by his expression when he snuck a cheeky look of his bride as she walked down the aisle. During the ceremony, Rebecca and Andrew made their own promises to each other- which featured Rebecca promising to try not to be late, and to allow Andrew to ride his bike when he wanted to… within reason!

After the ceremony the Nero String Quartet entertained the guests while they enjoyed champagne and canapés- as well as a range of fun lawn games. The evening saw the party move into the barn where the bare brick walls and beams were lit up with twinkling fairy-lights- the perfect setting for the couple’s first dance. They cut their lovely, elegant cake made by The Pretty Cake Company, and then it was really time to party. It was a truly special day, between two wonderful people very much in love- I wish them the best for a very happy future! A little mention to David Bostock and Katie Reay Scott makeup artist, glad to be apart of the dream teams.

Doug + Hannah Rhodes House wedding film Oxford

Doug + Hannah Rhodes House wedding film Oxford

13th August 2016 Doug & Hannah – Filmed at Rhodes House, Oxford

David Bostock and I were hugely privileged to share a part in Doug and Hannah’s beautiful wedding alongside , which could be summed up perfectly by his words to his new wife at the reception: “the best feeling in the world.” This was a day of celebrating not only the couple and their new life together, but also the beautiful surroundings of the day, in Oxford. The glorious city played a crucial role in creating a romantic and traditional backdrop for this glorious union.

Hannah looked every inch the radiant bride, with delicate pearls in her side-swept hair, and a gorgeous gown with a lace overlay and flowers adorning the heels of her shoes. The bridesmaids were ravishing in deep purple, and the entire bridal party arrived at the chapel in style in a great purring Bentley. Doug looked suitably awe-struck by his approaching bride, and the pair gazed at each other happily throughout the ceremony.

A boys’ choir sang ‘Jesu Joy of Man’s Desiring’ for the congregation while the couple signed the register, and then they were officially pronounced husband and wife! The sun was shining fondly on them as they emerged from the chapel, and Doug held a pretty parasol over his new wife’s head to shelter her and keep her cool. The entire wedding party then walked down the cobbled streets and past the historical buildings of Oxford to reach the reception venue, giving the delighted lunchtime crowds something to admire as they sat in the sun outside the local pubs! Once at Rhodes House, there was champagne all round, as well as Giant Jenga, Connect4 and a ‘foozball’ table for the guests to play on. China tea-sets were laid out for afternoon refreshments, before the sun set and it was time to head indoors. Dinner was served at a glorious grand table, with little hints of purple dotted about the room, including on the cake which was in classic white, festooned with gorgeous purple flowers. It was a spectacular and unique celebration of two people with warm hearts and a profound love for one another, and I wish them all the best!
