Tegwen + Tim wedding film Tythe barn Launton

Tegwen + Tim wedding film Tythe barn Launton

14th May 2016 Tegwen & Tim – Filmed at The Tythe Barn, Launton, Oxfordshire

On this gorgeous sunny May day, I was honored to witness Tim and ‘Tegs’ fulfill a promise that was, in fact, first made while they were at school. Tim admitted to having adorned his exercise book with “Tim Loves Tegs” in a big heart in Lower 6th, and this pair that had been told off for flirting in class were both overjoyed that this prophecy came true today. Tegwen looked flawless in a fitted, elegant gown with exquisite pearl beading on the bodice, and a stunning ‘up-do’ that framed her face in ethereal, wispy curls.

Her husband looked strapping, as did his band of merry groomsmen who each had a pair of brightly coloured socks on, only revealed during the photo session after the ceremony!

Tegwen’s bridesmaids looked wonderful in classic navy, their blue and pink bouquets just picking out the subtle but elegant tones of the couple’s colour scheme. For the guests, there was Pimm’s on arrival as they waited for the ceremony to begin, and once settled in their seats they gazed in awe at Tegwen and her father as they meandered down a path lined with twisted tree vines that met above their heads in a fairy-like archway.

As the groom led his new bride out again, he punched the air triumphantly with his beaming wife on his arm. After the ceremony the guests dined in the rustic yet elegant space of this wedding film Tythe Barn, twinkling fairy-lights strewn across the beams above them. Each table was named after a particular pub, so the guests were seated at a variety of much-loved establishments from The Red Lion, to Mullins, to The Devonshire and beyond! This quirky touch set the tone for the party to come, as after dinner the guests danced the night away with the beautiful bride and groom at the centre of the crowded dance-floor.

Charlotte + Neil wedding film Ashridge House

Charlotte + Neil wedding film Ashridge House

1st May 2016 Charlotte + Neil filmed at Ashridge House, Hertfordshire

“Thank you to Gary and Tracy, who brought Charlotte into this world, giving me the person I have been looking for all my life.”

Charlotte’s new husband became slightly choked up at these words, as he gazed into the eyes of his new bride. I was privileged to witness Charlotte and Neil’s spectacular wedding in the majestic setting of Ashridge House in Hertfordshire. This day was made all the more special by the fact that the couple are expecting a baby, which, in the groom’s words, would make this event “complete.” The sun shone on this magical day as Charlotte and Neil declared their love for each other, and promised (through both tears and giggles) to honor and cherish each other for the rest of their lives.

Charlotte, in her exquisite Jasmine Couture wedding dress, complete with a sweetheart neckline and studded with sparkles, was supported by her brigade of nine bridesmaids in gorgeous dusty pink, two angelic flower-girls, and two mischievous little page-boys. The color scheme was elegant and refined in rose-gold, and the bride’s spectacular, sparkling Jimmy Choo stilettos matched- although she did change into some more appropriate, comfy dancing shoes later in the day!

Bride and bridesmaids descended two sets of opposing staircases to the sweet and gentle sounds of Pachelbel’s Canon on the violin and keyboard. Neil’s nerves seemed to evaporate and a smile lit up his face when he looked up to see his glowing bride begin the descent on the arm of her emotional father, who confessed in a tearful voice during his speech later, that “if I’ve got to hand my daughter over to anybody, I couldn’t have a nicer chap than Neil.” The couple steadied each other with gentle squeezes throughout the ceremony as they quivered in awe of the special moment.

The reception was topped off with a sumptuous meal- the bride and groom presided over proceedings in golden thrones- and a regal pink and gold cake by Natalie Porter. The couple slow-danced to Ed Sheeran’s ‘We Found Love,’ performed by a live band, before they were joined on the dance floor by their party. I wish this wonderful couple and their new baby all the best for their future together!

Alex + Sam wedding film The Dairy

Alex + Sam wedding film The Dairy

30th April 2016 Alex & Sam – Filmed at The Dairy, Waddesdon, Buckinghamshire

“I choose you, above all others, to share my life.”

Nestled in amongst weeping willows and scores of ducks and geese happily swimming beneath, is the gorgeous Dairy at Waddesdon in Buckinghamshire. On a bright April day, I was lucky to witness the marriage here of Alex and Sam, and what a happy day it was. Alex wore an exquisite sleeveless gown with a full skirt and embroidered bodice, with a delicate pearl headpiece just peeking out from her dark hair, which was swept up in a chic style. She arrived at the venue in a stately Rolls Royce, whilst her husband-to-be opted for a sleek Aston Martin as his chariot.

Alex’s bridesmaids were the epitome of soft elegance in blush pink halter-neck gowns, and Alex’s father played true to his Scottish roots in full kilt regalia. Sam was just as strapping with his band of best men in navy suits with blush pink ties. Unsurprisingly, he had to wipe away a tear as he saw his beaming bride walk down the aisle towards him- but the ceremony was more of a giggly affair than a tearful one. Sam congratulated his bride when she managed to get through her first set of words without a hiccup, muttering a heartfelt “Good job! Well done” to which she replied with a fist pump.

The next triumph was discovering that Sam’s ring did, in fact, fit him- they had their doubts when Alex first tried to put it on him! There were several laughs from the guests and even a high-5 between the couple at one point. As the new husband and wife gave each other their first kiss, there were cheers and rapturous applause from the congregation, and Alex held her bouquet aloft in triumphant bliss as they walked back down the aisle together. The guests were then able to mingle and congratulate their newly married friends, while a string quartet (decked in tartan!) played sweet music in the background to accompany the happy scene. For the reception, there were more treats, including a four tier classically white wedding cake with exquisite ‘lace’ icing detail. The couple danced for the first time under the twinkling fairy lights surrounded by their friends and family, and were soon joined by their parents as the party really began. It was a day to remember and I wish the pair all the best as they commence their wonderful life together!

Mark + Louisa wedding film Taplow House

Mark + Louisa wedding film Taplow House

26th March 2016 Mark & Louisa – Filmed in Taplow & Taplow House, Buckinghamshire

“The owl and the pussycat went to sea … they danced by the light of the moon, the moon.”

Despite the blustery March day, this was a wedding of understated elegance and sparkling charm. As everyone gathered in the quaint setting of St. Nicolas Church in Buckinghamshire, the bride and her stunning, burgundy-clad bridesmaids shared a toast as they prepared for Louisa and Mark’s big day. Louisa’s wedding dress was the epitome of modern elegance with a nod to a more traditional era with a subtle but exquisite lace applique skirt-overlay, just shimmering into view as she walked. Her cascade of curls was complemented perfectly by a slim, beaded headband. The men were not to be outdone, with gorgeous cream rose buttonholes bursting from their lapels.

The bridal party arrived in a classic black London cab as Louisa’s chariot of choice, adorned with the tell-tale satin wedding ribbon on its bonnet. As Louisa walked down the aisle on her mother’s arm, her husband-to-be kept his eyes firmly to the front, a nervous but excited smile playing about his lips. Both Louisa and Mark looked ecstatic with joy once they had said their vows, and their infectious bliss inspired their happy audience.

The couple beamed down the aisle, now husband and wife, and shared a kiss as they reached the door. Whisked off to the elegant Taplow House, they were driven through the wrought iron gates and greeted at the entrance like royalty. In the Tulip Tree Room, their guests were thrilled to have a chance to congratulate the couple, whilst being served champagne and edible treats aplenty. The tables were marked by labels denoting different bones of the human body: guests had to find out whether they were at Femur or Tibia table! The final edible treat came in the form of their stunning, modern wedding cake that was strewn with pink roses, recalling the rose petal confetti they were showered with on leaving the church. The couple’s first dance was a joy to witness- Louisa’s veil still trailed behind her as she was lovingly swept across the dance floor. It was a day to remember, and I wish them all the best!

Faye + Rob wedding video Dorking Surrey

Faye + Rob wedding video Dorking Surrey

The wedding of Faye and Rob on the nineteenth of March was a special day, made even more wonderful by the fact that I filmed the wedding of their Best Man Adam and Bridesmaid Nina in 2012!

You could just feel the love shared between Rob and Faye, along with the excitement they both felt as they took step by step toward each other and their marriage. The intimate and beautiful venue made a lovely setting for their exchange of vows, and you could see that Faye was quivering with excitement and joy as they stood at the alter with their hands joined.

The bride looked absolutely stunning in a mermaid silhouette wedding dress; the sweetheart neckline and lace accented her elegant figure. She walked down the aisle with her father, her blusher framing her beautiful, glowing smile as she moved toward James. The moment where Rob was allowed to kiss his new bride for the first time was a truly dazzling instant, a second locked in time that will be remembered forever!

“Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away.” A special reading from the Song of Solomon lends a tender sentiment to the day, speaking to the love shared by a newly joined couple. John, Faye’s father, shared a lovely toast, speaking words of praise, admiration and love for his daughter that caused him to get choked up a bit, and brought a tear to many eyes.

The reception was joyful and exciting in a gorgeous space of Denbies Vineyard. Rob and Faye’s first dance went flawlessly and soon after they invited friends and family to join them on the dance floor as a live band played lively music that got everyone up and dancing! It was an amazing day with an incredible couple, and I’m so glad I got to take part. Thank you for allowing me to capture your memories, Faye and Rob! I wish you all of the best in your future together!

Harriet + James A wedding video Wrest Park

Harriet + James A wedding video Wrest Park

March 12th of 2016 was a beautiful day for a wedding, and the truly magnificent venue of Wrest Park created a gorgeous setting for the special events of the day.

The parents of both the bride and groom were so proud of their children, and you can tell that there is so much love shared between them. Listening to Harriet’s father, Neil speak about his daughter, you could just hear the genuine admiration and appreciate he felt for his ebullient, upbeat and supportive daughter. Clearly, this has been and will continue to be a warm and happy extended family!

Harriet looked absolutely stunning in an ethereal confection, her figure enhanced beautifully by her elegant wedding dress. A sweetheart neckline looked lovely with her half-up hairdo, her tiny waist accentuated by the beaded and bejeweled embellishments just before frothy layers of tulle finished the truly princess-worthy wedding day look!

The bride and her father stylishly arrived in a gorgeous classic car, and stepped out to start their path down the aisle toward James. You could see the emotion in James’s face as Harriet started down the aisle to the strains of “My Girl” played on strings.

Their voices were strong and clear as they recited the traditional wedding vows, and you could see that there was a quiet happiness within each of them. James and Harriet are going to move forward in their life together as a beautiful family, sharing and loving “until death us do part.”

The stunning backdrop of Wrest Park just served to enhance this amazing wedding, casting a magical glow to the atmosphere as the sun set during the reception. A more beautiful couple couldn’t ask for a more beautiful wedding, and I’m so excited that I was able to take part in creating memories of their wedding day. Congratulations to Harriet and James, and best wishes for the future!

Nicola + David wedding video The Langham blog

Nicola + David wedding video The Langham blog

Nicola and David were joined together in holy matrimony on 31st December 2015. The backdrop for their exquisite wedding video The Langham: The Langham London. The world famous cocktail bar and cellars has been hosting guests since 1865.While the ladies primped in the bridal suite, the gents greeted the plethora of guests arriving. Once they sealed their vows to love and cherish one another for the rest of their lives, they sealed it with one happy kiss and were on their way to celebrate with friends and family. Nothing quite sums up their love than when David had to hold back tears in the plethora of “”Wow” being the only word to sum up how beautiful his bride Nicola truly is! This wedding was one fun day to remember. Especially when the ring bearers came down the aisle wearing signs: Uncle David…Here comes Auntie Nic Nic. One of the most fun facts about this family: The Father of the Bride is famous Arsenal footballer Brian Talbot. Who happens to be the Groom’s football hero. When David was young, he had his poster on his childhood bedroom wall and grew up to marry his beautiful daughter. The guests gathered for a traditional champagne reception and were entertained with card tricks and caricature portraits while Mark Seymour photographed every loving moment! The reception dinner was full of live music, pink lights, and a whole lot of sparkle. We truly loved being a part of this very elegant affair.

Thank you, Nicola and David! It was a true joy being a part of your special day and helping preserve the memories of the day you said: “I do.” We truly hope every day is just as romantic as the day you joined one another and that you love and cherish each moment from now on!

Abby & Chris Wedding video Le Manoir Blog

On the 14th of December 2015, Abby and Chris sealed their love for eternity at Le Manoir Aux Quat’ Saisons Oxfordshire. It was an absolute pleasure to shoot their wedding video Le Manoir Aux Quat’ Saisons Oxfordshire and Raymond Blanc Place. As Chris said, “It was beyond our expectations.” That statement alone pretty much sums up how absolutely romantic this day truly was! A night filled with fairy lights and magic, Abby and Chris are a true inspiration when it comes to love. An intimate wedding, with 14 guests, the reception boasted of fine dining and an evening with magician David Penn. While Neale James caught every other moment on camera. What a joy it was to be a part of such an intimate evening basked in the light of love. The bride was simply elegant and dressed in white while the groom was suited and booted with maroon accents. Both simply sparkled with one look at another when Abby came down the aisle. As if their wedding ceremony wasn’t romantic enough… The magic truly was all around Abby and Chris — even in their epic wedding walk surrounded by sparklers. They say it’s good luck when you have a little rain on your wedding day, and luck was in the air for Abby and Chris. Through tears of joy, laughter and love Abby and Chris said “I do” in one gorgeous fashion. The reception, candle lit in romance, was full of entertainment, magic and most of all — true love! Thank you so much to Abby and Chris for asking us to help you record memories that will last a lifetime. We truly hope every day for the rest of your life together is just as magical as the day you came to be husband and wife!

Anna and Geoff Wedding video blog Stoke Park

Anna and Geoff Wedding video blog Stoke Park

On the 5th of December 2015, Anna & Geoff said “I do” at Stoke Park Buckinghamshire. The backdrop of their wedding video Stoke Park Buckinghamshire was just simply perfect for their special day. A private sporting and leisure estate in Stoke Poges, Buckinghamshire, the regal Mansion is located in the middle of 300 acres of parkland, lakes, gardens and monuments. As the wedding video starts, Anna’s daughter sings the James Bond theme. What a spectacular talent and gift to her mother. Their love and bond is so evidently strong. The ladies enjoyed champagne and styling in the bridal suite while the gentlemen were suited and booted in tuxedo tales. A royal winter wedding, the bride looked absolutely stunning as she floated down the aisle in her fitted wedding dress accented with a fur bolero. The two shared the token of marriage with the exchange of rings and vows to love and cherish one another, as well as all of their beautiful children. The reception was simple, elegant and basked in white light. From white linens to white roses, and candles galore. The laughter and cheers shared within toasts to Jeff and Anna was more than perfect and summed up the gorgeous relationship between the happy couple and their blended family! The reception organised by TMB Entertainment was truly one to remember! From the naked wedding cake, the live entertainment, the sparkling dance floor, the first dance, and every loving moment in between — love truly filled the air! Especially on the very packed dance floor. The guests really made this affair one to remember, too. Thank you, Anna and Geoff, for allowing us to help preserve your beautiful memories. We hope the rest of your life together is one full of laughter, joy, and love. Just as the day, you said, “I do!”

Leanne and James Stoke Park video blog

Leanne and James Stoke Park video blog

It was an idyllic day in Buckinghamshire when Leanne and James joined together in marriage. September 11th of two-thousand fifteen marked a truly special day for this beautiful couple, the day they celebrated their love and said “I do.”

“Quite simply, you’re the love of my life.”

Leanne looked like a princess in an ethereal beaded dress which enhanced her figure and set off her beautiful face and hair perfectly. The bride and her father arrived in a lovely Rolls-Royce to walk down the aisle where she would join hands with her husband-to-be. Her beautiful blue eyes sparkled with love as she gazed into his eyes and spoke her vows. You know these two will truly love and cherish each other for the rest of their lives.

“I feel so lucky to know we’re going to spend the rest of our lives together.”

James and Leanne left the ceremony to the cheers and applause of their closest friends and family as they were showered in confetti and love. They shared a sweet kiss before heading off to the reception at the absolutely stunning Stoke Park, which hosted both a James Bond film as well as Bridget Jones! The guests were serenaded by a wonderful saxophone player, and enjoyed spending quality time with cocktails and laughter. A flower girl and page boy may even have stolen a kiss!

Their first dance was a romantic sway where they exchanged a few sweet words with each other, tuning out the entire room to focus solely on each other. The lucky horseshoe dangled over James’s shoulder as they danced, reminding all of the sweet tradition of why we keep the horseshoe in a U shape: so the luck doesn’t fall out. The cutting of the cake was a lovely moment shared by the couple, his hand on top of hers. It seemed like Leanne and James were always touching, perhaps to confirm that the moment was real and they were well and truly married. It was these moments, captured by the photographer, David Bostock, that will live forever in both memory and pictures.

The emotion shared in the Father of the Bride’s speech was palpable, and he was truly moved to see his daughter’s happiness fulfilled. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room after his words – I know I had a tear in mine! It was such a genuine pleasure to be part of this special day, Leanne and James. Thank you for allowing me to capture your memories, and I sincerely wish you the most happiness in the world.
