Emma and Jon Walton Hall wedding video blog

I know I’ve said it before, but this time is a little different. Jon and Emma make such a lovely duo, it’s hard not to say their wedding was my favourite! August 29th dawned bright and beautiful, ready to shine love down onto all who attended the wedding at Walton Hall in Warwickshire.

“There aren’t many couples that have been through what we have in the early stages of the relationship, and come out the other side – let alone being stronger. You’re not just my wife, but you’re my best friend.”

Emma wasn’t just a beautiful bride she was also a thoughtful bride. From the beautiful embroidered robes gifted to her bridesmaids to the ultra-flattering gowns she chose for them, she made the day a perfect experience for everyone involved. They laughed and joked while getting ready, and everyone arrived to the ceremony looking absolutely stunning. The bride looked marvelous in a form-fitting confection of a dress, which simply offset her beauty rather than covered it! She carried a gorgeous array of Calla Lilies down the aisle.

All of the gentlemen in the wedding party looked dapper and tremendously handsome, excited to be part of this beautiful day. The page boy carried a sweet sign as well as a lovely ring box, which he very courteously handed over to the wedding celebrant. The photographer, Danielle King, was everywhere, making sure she captured every moment of the day in vivid detail.

The reception had so many sweet touches, it’s hard to say which was the loveliest! The card box was an actual post box, which everyone exclaimed over when they placed their cards inside. The seats were indicated on a family tree, and listed on the tables in sweet damask shaped frames. The dinner was intimate and inclusive, with a long table set at which everyone could mingle. The guest book was wooden hearts that everyone could sign then drop into a glass-front box for Jon and Emma to display as a memory of their special day forever.

The best part may have been the cake – which wasn’t a cake at all! It was a stunning tower of delicious wheels of cheese, topped with a custom “Mr and Mrs Morris.” There was a roving magician charming everyone with card tricks, and finally – there was a group picture where everyone in attendance formed a giant heart on the lawn.

It was one of the most special wedding days at Walton Hall I’ve had the pleasure of taking video of, and I’m so glad I got to be part of it. I wish all of the best in the future for you, Emma and Jon!

Hannah and Colin wedding video Buckinghamshire Blog

From the moment I arrived, I knew this was going to be a special wedding! Hannah and Colin make such an amazing and beautiful couple they light up the room simply by being in it. Their loved ones and friends could feel the love they exuded! On the 22nd of August, 2015, this warm and loving couple tied the knot in Buckinghamshire. Hannah got ready for the wedding with her bridesmaids at the Ley House, drinking sparkling wine and laughing together. All of them looked absolutely stunning in deep plum dresses, enhanced by just the slightest bit of assistance from a makeup artist! Hannah wrote all of her special friends a thoughtful note, which definitely brought sweet tears to their eyes, and gave them necklaces to wear as a token of friendship. Looking absolutely beautiful in a sleeveless, lace topped dress, Hannah shone with love as she headed to her husband-to-be. The wedding party walked just a few blocks down the street to the church, the bride’s father looking handsome in a morning suit and a top hat. The ceremony was absolutely sweet, with both Hannah and Colin looking nervous to start, but gaining confidence with every word they spoke of their vows. On leaving the church, the guests tossed heart-shaped confetti, while Colin and Hannah shared a sweet kiss. My favourite part of the entire day was the awesome green bus that they hired to bring all of the guests to the marquee for the reception! The emerald green field was the ideal setup for a beautiful outdoor reception featuring delicious-looking canapés and cocktails. The receiving line went on for quite a while because everyone wanted to give their love to the happy couple! The royal purple colour theme was extended to the stunning floral arrangements at the centre of each table at the reception, as well as the cloths under the adorable table numbers created out of moss. The guests even got in on the colour scheme, many wearing shades of purple as well! Overall, this wedding video Buckinghamshire for Hannah and Colin was a tremendously joyful occasion, celebrated by their nearest and dearest and finishing with a beautiful party to celebrate their union. May you always feel this much love and joy, Colin and Hannah, it was a pleasure to witness your love and wedding!

Kelly and Brian wedding video Oxford blog

It is always a pleasure to be able to share in the joy of a wedding day, and the marriage of Kelly and Brian on the eighth of August, two-thousand fifteen was especially wonderful. The beautiful day was enhanced with the happiness shared by the family and friends who joined them on this special day. Not many couples completely nail a perfect wedding, but to say this special day shared with Kelly and Brian was magical, would be an understatement. Both of the gorgeous venues are richly steeped in history. The Brasenose College and Oxford Union both offer such an elegant atmosphere for a beautiful wedding, and are both quite special to this American couple who attended school here. This magical place is where they met and fell in love, so having their wedding here was a natural choice.

“Love is when you can stare at each other for hours, and your cheeks will hurt every time.”

Not a single detail or moment was missed by the photographer, Barker Evans, and the classic beauty of Kelly and Brian made this a gorgeous wedding to film. The bride wore a lovely and demure dress in soft ivory, with a lace overlay that showed off her shoulders, and reached to three quarter length sleeves. The full ball gown skirt emphasized her figure, and her handsome husband looked perfect in a black tuxedo beside her. A chapel length veil finished Kelly’s ensemble, floating elegantly in the breeze while walking down beautiful cobblestone streets together. The intimate moments shared by these two were magical – they were able to get lost in each other, allowing for some truly wonderful footage to be capture. You can just feel the love between Brian and Kelly, as they talk, as they smile, as they kiss, and as they hold hands. This is a love that will last forever, and you can see it in their faces when they smile at each other.

I’m so lucky to have been able to shoot this wedding video Oxford, and I am very much looking forward to seeing Brian and Kelly next year! I will be providing videography services for Kelly’s sister’s wedding in 2017 in Colorado USA!

Congratulations, Kelly and Brian. May you always remember the happiness from today, and let it guide you through your tomorrows.

Catherine & Pietro Wokefield Park wedding video Blog

It was a truly beautiful day when Catherine and Pietro joined their hands in marriage on the 7th of August in two-thousand fifteen. This handsome couple got married surrounded by their best friends and family, a fact that was evident in how much joy was shared in the toasts to the couple, and how happy everyone wishes for them to be.

“In Catherine I have found my life partner,” Pietro says, just barely able to keep the emotion from his voice. “I wouldn’t be complete unless I had Catherine by my side, as my wife.”

We really enjoyed taking the video for this wedding, because it was just amazing to watch this beautiful couple prepare for and get married. The sweet moments were captured by the skilled photographer Mark Seymour, including the delicate process of buttoning all of the tiny buttons down the back of her exquisite Emma Louise wedding dress and putting on her Jimmy Choo shoes. Catherine made for a stunning bride, her green eyes and natural beauty enhanced by just a hint of makeup. Her beautiful smile was so bright on this day, and it only got brighter when she saw Pietro waiting for her at the end of the aisle. Their wedding party was small, just a couple bridesmaids and groomsmen, which just enhanced how special the day was, and how important those people were to be included. The bridesmaids wore a soft champagne colour, a colour reflected in the pale mauve roses that Catherine carried. Pietro’s expression, on seeing Catherine join him at the altar, was one of excitement and overwhelming emotion. Both Catherine and Pietro could barely contain their nerves, alternately looking as if they might release a tear and breaking into giggles. Pietro may have been a little nervous as he slid the wedding band onto Catherine’s finger, a charming moment I was so happy to capture. It’s a moment they will remember for the rest of their lives. The reception featured lovely décor on tables charmingly named after delicious cocktails, and a red carpet entrance, making sure every guest felt special. The celebration took place at Wokefield Park, a gorgeous venue that has since tragically burned down. We sincerely hope it has since been rebuilt, as there should be many more weddings held at this beautiful estate.

We are sincerely thrilled to wish Catherine and Pietro congratulations and hope that they will have many years of happiness to come.

Chloe & Matt Notley Abbey blog

On the beautiful first day of August in two-thousand fifteen, these two absolutely charming people became one in marriage at Notley Abbey. To the delight of the family and friends who joined them in celebrating this very special day, the day’s weather was absolutely gorgeous. Chloe and Matt tied the knot at the elegant and historic Notley Abbey Buckinghamshire, a venue which is not only steeped in history but which sets a beautiful tableau for a wedding. Marilyn Monroe even visited Notley Abbey, but had she visited on this day she wouldn’t have held a candle to the beauty of the bride. Chloe, with her dark hair in long wavy ringlets and flawless makeup, looked exquisite as she stepped down the stairs to make her way toward her husband-to-be. In her hand, she clutched a tidy bouquet of peachy-pink roses by Sonning Flowers. Her wedding dress was by Essense of Australia, and she wore Christian Louboutin to glide down the aisle toward her fiancé. The bridesmaids and flower girls wore dresses of the same pink-tinted peach and all of the very handsome groomsmen had ties, pocket squares and boutonnieres to match. Matt looked slightly nervous but tremendously dapper in his morning suit, waiting for his blushing bride at the end of the outdoor aisle. All of the touching and emotional moments were brilliantly captured by the photographer, Sarah Critchlow. This fabulous couple exited the ceremony to the exciting sound of confetti cannons which showered them with glittering gold, and then celebrated their new marriage by joining their guests for a fun-filled reception. Their first dance was performed to a live singer and band singing “I wouldn’t have nothing if I didn’t have you”. They were soon joined by their loved ones, and even the young ones danced together. It was a day of celebration, love, life and laughter with those closest to them. You couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful or well-coordinated wedding. The bright and lively reception was appointed with tables named after a wide variety of birds, and the bird-loving couple released a pair of beautiful white doves. The ‘tweeting plan’ indicated where guests should sit, and there were even owls that joined the party! No detail was overlooked, and the day was brought to a wonderful close when everyone released matching pink balloons. Congratulations to Chloe and Matt, you make a beautiful couple, and we wish you every possible happiness!
