Millie + Dan Fetcham Park wedding film

30th July 2016 Millie & Dan – Filmed at Fetcham Park, Surrey

How do you spell love? You don’t spell it, you feel it.”

Millie’s father quoted this exchange between Piglet and Pooh from A.A. Milne’s much-loved classic, as he gave a tribute to his daughter, the ‘baby’ of the family. He confessed the difficulty of handing over his youngest daughter to someone else, but thanked Dan for being such a wonderful person to whom he could ‘hand’ her. Millie and Dan’s wedding was a fabulous day of fun and laughter on a sunny July afternoon, and it began with the festive atmosphere in the bridal party’s dressing room. Millie’s mother wore an extraordinary fuchsia headpiece which matched perfectly with her pale blue outfit. Millie actually wore two dresses over the course of the day- she began in a classically elegant, sleeveless, full skirted satin gown from Pronovias, and then later changed into an equally stunning, sleek strapless number with a beaded belt. Her bridesmaids were gorgeous in lacy, icy blue from Chi Chi London, with tiny discreet sparkles in their hair- the bride and her ladies all wore dainty white lace gloves and carried baby’s breath and pink rose bouquets. Millie’s hair was pinned into a simple but beautiful up-do, and she wore baby blue heels with a subtle but fun pattern which peeked out from under her gown.

After the ceremony, when Millie and Dan could officially start their life as husband and wife, they climbed into a classic convertible adorned with a ‘Just Married’ sign and trailing the traditional tin cans, for their first, leisurely drive as newlyweds. At the reception, Dan recalled their first meeting in Camden Town, when they discovered a mutual love of Lord of the Rings, and he confessed that it wasn’t long before he knew she was The One. He confirmed this with a romantic proposal in New York, and now, as he gazed at his new wife, he proclaimed “I can’t wait to grow old with you.” Their guests were wined and dined in an ornate, gorgeous room at Fetcham Park, with a live band to keep them shimmying around the dance floor. The couple’s beautiful wedding cake from The Custom Cake Boutique was exquisitely decorated with little birds ‘painted’ onto the icing- an unusual and stunning piece of edible artwork! It was a fitting centerpiece for what was a spectacular day for Millie and Dan, and I was overjoyed to be a part of it alongside Fiona Kelly such a wonderful photographer

Joanne + Rob A Wasing Park wedding film, Berkshire

9th July 2016 Joanne & Rob – Filmed at Wasing Park, Berkshire

Joanne and Rob’s glorious wedding on a warm July day in Berkshire was a joy to witness. The setting at Wasing Park was rustic but elegant, the natural splendor of the barns and surrounding gardens a perfect reflection of the couple’s understated but enduring commitment to one another. Joanne looked the epitome of regal grace in a fitted gown by Allure Couture, with little capped sleeves, made all the more exquisite by a stunning lace overlay. The outfit was completed by spectacular duck-egg Manolo Blahniks adorned with subtle jewels. Her blonde locks fell gentle past her shoulders, with a delicate braided crown at the back decorated with pink roses. She wore a short, light veil which contrasted beautifully with the lace of her gown.

Joanne’s bridesmaids were in pale, duck-egg blue, off-the-shoulder gowns, with sprays of baby’s breath peeking out from their curls. Last but not least, Joanne’s sweet little flower girl was in simple but stunning white, complete with a flower crown of roses in her hair.

During the ceremony, the couple seemed barely to be able to believe their luck, and kept stealing glimpses at each other throughout. When they were pronounced husband and wife, they could fully embrace the moment with their first kiss.

Outside, drinks and canapés were served on the sprawling lawn, while the bridal party migrated to a small, exquisite gazebo in the garden and were presented with dainty gifts- Links jewellery for Joanne’s lovely supportive ladies. There was a classic London cab with a quirky twist available for the guests to enjoy- covered in graffiti and transformed into a mobile photo booth, the wedding party enjoyed making use of the wide array of fun props to record happy memories of the day. After the reception, the couple cut their beautiful wedding cake from Sam’s Delight- a four tiered masterpiece in duck-egg blue and gold with cream rose petals piped along the base. They then danced the night away in the sea of reflected disco ball lights. It was a truly fabulous day filming alongside Studio Rouge Photography, and I am certain that they will enjoy a wonderful, happy life together.
