30th June 2018 Cara & Andrew Bodleian Library wedding video Oxford, Oxfordshire videographer

Can you imagine anywhere grander or more impressive to get married than a library? This was definitely the case for Cara and Andrew who held their summer wedding in the  Oxford Bodleian Library, and Pembroke college were they studied and first meet. The Bodleian library is famous in its own right but also for being the Hogwarts library in the Harry Potter films.

A wonderful couple, this beautiful setting was ideal for them. From the moment they confirmed with me, I was so excited to be working with them to capture their special day along with photographer Dale Stevens.

It was smiles all round at this intimate wedding, and you could really feel a sense of pride from not only the mother of the bride but also the bridal party as they got ready with Cara before heading to the stunning wedding venue. There were some special touches which were a pleasure to film, including bubbles instead of confetti and croquet on the lawn.

The venue itself is in the heart of Oxford, allowing guests to take a walk through the city streets, before reaching the Bodleian where one is transported to another world. With stunning indoor and outdoor spaces, guests were able to play garden games and enjoy the sunshine.

While Cara and Andrew had plenty of people to watch them declare their love for one another, the wedding still managed to feel cosy and intimate, enabling every guest to feel that they were a part of something that would be remembered for a lifetime.
