Selina + Thomas Hedsor House wedding film, Bucks
It’s so beautiful to see people from two cultures and religion come together as one. Selina and Thomas had an Indian wedding video and capturing it was a fun and exciting experience, something I will always remember. It was great to work alongside my mate David Bostock and to see an Indian wedding in action and how their traditions vary from a normal Christian wedding.
The groom along with his family and friends (also known as the groom party) arrived in style at the Hedsor House and the bride’s family gave them a warm welcome. The wedding took place on 29 May 2017, so the weather was nice and warm, perfect for a wedding!
Selina wore a gold and deep red lehenga choli and she looked absolutely stunning! Her Indian style makeup with the henna on her hands and jewelry; everything was perfection.
The wedding ceremony went smoothly and then the bride changed into a wedding gown and the couple did the cutting of the cake followed by their first dance. This Hedsor House wedding film turned out amazing and Selina and Thomas look like two people who belong with each other!
Ellie & Matt Hedsor House Wedding Video, 28th of June 2014
I love my work, especially when it’s in a setting as magnificent as Hedsor House in Taplow. Everything about the venue is first class, which makes filming a wedding video Buckinghamshire a dream, and it was a beautiful backdrop for the summer wedding of Eloise and Matthew Wadie.
It was a large and excited wedding party who got ready before the afternoon ceremony. I suspect the original garden designer had women in voluminous frocks, rather than bridesmaids in onesies drinking mugs of tea, in mind when he planned the layout! Ellie’s family has a wonderfully theatrical vein that was shown in the perfect rendition of “A Thousand Years” which was sung after vows had been exchanged.
Every wedding has a unique atmosphere that’s totally down to the couple. Ellie and Matt’s were romantic. From their choice of setting, to the pretty pastel colour scheme and even the pink heart shaped umbrellas, there was a dreamy quality that was as soft and voluptuous as their love and commitment is firm. Ellie and Matt chose a mix of traditional tiered cake and cute cupcakes skilfully made by Victoria Wadie. They were iced in white and delicate shades of pink and green, topped with flowers that looked as real as the roses, peonies and hydrangeas Ellie and her bridesmaids carried in their Seventh Heaven bouquets.
The weather may have been drizzly but that didn’t matter with such luxurious surroundings. As Simon Kemp, the wedding photographer from Hyde End Studios, and I photographed and filmed the wedding party in the gardens, guests enjoyed sublime canapés and pre-dinner drinks. Caterers Caper and Berry provided a mouth-watering meal which was followed by a fantastic choreographed dance to the Nat King Cole classic L-O-V-E. I’ve never seen a bride’s mother tap dance before, and I suspect I’ll never see one do it with as much flair as Carolyn!
Congratulations Ellie and Matt, and thanks for letting me be part of your magical day.
