19th April 2019 Sophie & Cameron The Crazy Bear wedding video, Oxfordshire videographer
How did you guys meet? We met at the local pub. My dad worked at the same pub as Cameron and was his manager. I went to their staff party and that’s when is all hit off! Lots of flirting started.
Tell me a bit about the two of you, what do you guys do? How do you spend your time? Cameron is working at Prezzo in Marlborough as assistant manager. I’m currently working in a nursery with children, not what I want to do as I’m trained in beauty therapy but it’s a fill in job at the moment. We are waiting for my Father to open a Wine and Small Plates bar. When we have nights off together, we like to have a nice meal at home and watch a film or sometime we like popping to the pub for a few drinks with friends and family. We both enjoy good wine and good food.
How did the proposal go down? (all the gushy details, I love this bit!) We were in London for the weekend. Met my cousin for dinner on the Sunday night, had quite a few drinks and had a stinking hangover on the Monday. We had a nice day on Monday despite that, shopping and walking around. We went back to our hotel to chill out before going to dinner at the Ivy, we were chilling on the bed when Cameron asked me big question!! At first, I thought he was joking as he has said it before as a joke, I even said “shut up your joking” But little did I know he had the most beautiful ring, which he had chosen with one of his best mates. He did very well!!!!
How did you choose your wedding venue(s)? It’s the only venue we would off got married at in this country!! We wanted to get married abroad, but family didn’t like it and we actually realised it would have cost us a lot more! We love The Crazy Bear!!!!
What sort of experience do you want your guests to have? One to never forget!!! And talking about for a long time after!
Can you describe some of the details and stylings, does your wedding have a theme? Table names are different Gins, as that’s Cameron’s favourite drink! The Crazy Bear is very oriental so we have gone down that sort of colourings and theme!
What was the hardest decision during the planning? Nothing was really that hard! But to finally decide to have the wedding in his country was difficult and also to have to change the date!!
What advice would you give to couples planning a wedding? Make sure you save enough money for everything you want! Enjoy your time planning it, it suddenly goes very quick!
