”Jo and I first met through our mutual friend Laura (one of Jo’s bridesmaid’s). I had known Laura since I was 14 years old. Laura met Jo several years later at University, sharing Halls in their first year and living with each other in their Uni house in their second year.Jo and I were friends for many years, but circumstance dictated that we were never single at the time. After many years of friendship, fate finally placed us in a situation where we both available.At a fireworks party hosted by Laura and Rick (Jo’s Bridesmaid and my Usher) in 2012, I finally made my move and plucked up the courage to ask Jo out on a date. After that very first trip to the Drunken Monkey in Shoreditch, here we are just over 5 years’ later as husband and wife!”

Jo + Elliott Hedingham Castle wedding video your very own Norman castle one of the best romantic locations I have ever had the pleasure in filming, Hedingham Castle is privately owned and slowly and lovingly being restored to it’s former glory. Built in 1140 that’s over 877years ago and still remains in the family, I can see why Jo + Elliott decided to get married here it is simply stunning!

The English weather a mix of rain and sun during the day didn’t dampen the wedding cheer, and as the preparations finished it was soon time for Elliott to take his place in the castle and await his future bride. Jo arrived in a stunning bespoke wedding dress by Karen Millen and sporting a great pair of shoes also by Karen! Elliot looked on as Jo walked down the isle in his magnificent setting, a truly stunning wedding service unfolded and was sealed with a kiss and cheer from the guests.

The Georgian house hosted the cheer as guests enjoyed champagne and canapés, whilst myself and the amazing photographer Voyteck captured some magical photos and footage from around the venue. The day finished for me capturing Jo & Elliott’s first dance, as I said my goodbyes the night looked like it being. Here’s to you Jo & Elliot a wonderful wedding, and all the best for the future!

Mark was recommended by our photographer, and we’re so grateful. We hesitated to afford a videographer but we wholeheartedly know we made the right decision. The beautifully shot and superbly edited film truly captured the story of the day, especially for our friends and family around the world who could not be with us - many of whom have been moved to tears. The quality of the film is amazing, very cinematic with great resolution. Mark expertly overlaid the footage with the audio of our vows and opening remarks of our registrar, together with audio tracks we picked as well as recording the band live from the day. We’ve had so many of our guests surprised that we even have a video “I didn’t even notice a videographer!” Which is testament to how seamlessly Mark blended in with our guests, and subtly positioned himself and extra cameras to capture all the small details. Can't wait to relieve it on our anniversary every year!

I cannot thank Mark enough for yet another amazing film of my daughter’s wedding. The video was stunningly filmed and edited to perfection. It told the story of the day and helped me relive every beautiful moment. Mark Shipperley is truly an artist who can capture the beauty and emotion of the day. We are from the US, but I met Mark when he created the video of my oldest daughter’s wedding in Oxford in 2015. When my other daughter wanted to get married in Colorado in 2017, I researched US videographers but found none who created the spectacular videos that Mark always crafts. He is a cinematographer in a class of his own. I noticed that he won the English Wedding Award 2017 in the videographer category, and in my opinion, he would win that award in the US as well.

In the preparation to our wedding, my wife really wanted Mark to video our big day. I wasn't too comfortable with seeing myself on film. However... Every time I watch the film that Mark has produced, I realize that is was one of the best decisions we made as a couple, to re-live the memories we engraved that day. We weren't sure if we wanted a videographer for our wedding but I'm sooo glad we were recommended Mark by a friend. He was fantastic on the day, totally blended in and made us feel at ease. You don't feel like you're being filmed at all so no need to worry about stage fright! Mark filmed our wedding day having worked on both my sisters' weddings so I knew that we would love the finished film but I have to say that I was absolutely thrilled with it. It was so unique and perfectly captured us and our day! What I really love about Mark's work is that it feels so personal rather than just the same for every wedding. Mark, we can't thank you enough for the beautiful wedding film you created for us. We wanted something cinematic, that we could look back on with joy and fond memories in years to come. Something to stand the test of time that we could share with a families and be instantly transported back to our magical day. Despite the rain, and how dirty my dress got from the puddles, and how messy my hair became from the constant downpour (and my fears about looking utterly dreadful forever on film!!!!); is you've put together a perfect film which really captured the love and happiness we felt that day. Everytime I watch our film it fills me with happiness and reminds me of the little moments that made our day so special. You were so great on the day, having a laugh with us and fitting into the background so our guests weren't uncomfortable or overly conscious about being captured on film! Mark filmed our wedding day and did such an incredible job along with his assistant Will. They fully embraced the theme of the day and picked up on every detail with such creativity. I was in total awe and full of the same emotions watching it back. It was a wonderful gift for our family that couldn't be there with us on the day too. Not only was the final product incredible, but on the day they slipped into the background and their presence was not invasive at all. Nothing was forced or posed to be unnatural. They just kept filming and picked up some beautiful moments we had with our family and friends.
