Our wedding film love story

How did you guys meet?

Tell me a bit about the two of you, what do you guys do? How do you spend your time?

Laura is police officer, Katy works in the hospital management, two children and a dog in the house. Very busy always. We love to go on holiday (pre Covid) music festivals, gigs, pubs with friends, eating out and spending time on our sofa.

How did the proposal go down? (all the gushy details, I love this bit!)

Erm not too gushy. I (Katy) had loads of plans but cancelled loads. Ended up doing it in the living room with a photo book of all of Laura’s grumpy faces.

How did you choose your wedding venue(s)?

It was pretty dressed up so already so we knew we could just arrive and not have to do much. It’s also not a traditional wedding venue and had a hotel attached.

What sort of experience do you want your guests to have?

We want a massive party for our friends. We have all worked tirelessly and not seen anyone. A celebration for everyone really. We just happen to get married at the same time l.

Can you describe some of the details and stylings, does your wedding have a theme?

Not really a theme, there won’t be any flowers, bridesmaids will wear black to match the brides men.

What was the hardest decision during the planning?

Doing it three times?!

What advice would you give to couples planning a wedding?

Share the load, communicate and be honest
