How did you guys meet?

Online – Tinder :).

Tell me a bit about the two of you, what do you guys do? How do you spend your time?

Andy is an operations manager for a scaffolding/access company and Polly is a marine underwriter.

We would normally spend our free time going to festivals/gigs, out to dinner with friends etc. but have just moved house so decorating and DIY for the foreseeable!

How did the proposal go down? (all the gushy details, I love this bit!)

We got engaged in Madrid, Andy had a plan to propose in the palace gardens but when we got there I said they weren’t as pretty as I thought they’d be. Fast forward three hours and he proposed in a park watching the sunset!

How did you choose your wedding venue(s)?

We went to a lot of venues, we think 16! Caswell House stood out because it’s so pretty, has enough rooms for our family and wedding party to stay over and it’s not too big but still feels intimate.

What sort of experience do you want your guests to have?

FUN!!

Can you describe some of the details and stylings, does your wedding have a theme?

English garden theme, relaxed, not fussy. 

What was the hardest decision during the planning?

Choosing the venue (we went to 16!) 

What advice would you give to couples planning a wedding?

Tick little bits off every day and don’t let the planning get on top of you! Try to avoid global pandemics.
