Sarah and Simon wedding video Hayes, 28th of June 2014
It was a typical British summer day when Sara and Simon tied the knot, but rain never put me off creating the best Buckinghamshire wedding video possible and this occasion was no different. Sara was a little late reaching the beautiful Grade I listed St Leonard’s Church in Old Warden and it was a visibly relieved Simon who breathed out as she drew up in a pristine Landaulette driven by White Doves Wedding Cars.
The strength of love and goodwill in the church was palpable. Sara had recently lost her beloved father, John, and it seemed as if the congregation of family and friends were doing all they could to help Sara and her mother through the wedding service. John’s presence was sorely missed but the love he felt for his daughter and future son-in-law was evident in the gorgeous celebration he had helped them to organise. Rain prevented our couple from having the traditional confetti shots outside the church, but they were greeted enthusiastically by their guests as they took shelter in the marquee.
I loved filming this wedding video Hayes. It was a fantastic blend of traditional and contemporary, with a fresh blue and white seaside scheme and simple accessories used very effectively. In a play on their surname each table was named after a fish, nautical bunting added colour to the all-white marquee, and Sylvie’s Cake Creations made a stylish tiered cake decorated with coral and shells. The seaside theme extended out into the grounds where the rain had eased up and guests reclined in striped deck chairs, tucking into ice-cream and fish and chips, playing cricket and making good use of the photo booth and props housed in a vintage caravan.
Congratulations Mr and Mrs Fisher. Thank you for letting me be part of your special day.
