Jason & Hannah wedding video Poundon house , 21st of June 2014
There are events where everything comes together even better than expected, and Jason and Hannah Newell’s wedding at Poundon House is a perfect example.
My job making the wedding video Oxfordshire began before Hannah arrived at Christchurch in Thame, in a vintage Rolls Royce driven by Regency Carriages Aylesbury. Brides are always beautiful, and Hannah was no exception with her hair by Brothers Thame and makeup by Harri and Georgina. Colour was a wonderful feature of this wedding. The vivid blue of the bridesmaids’ dresses from Coast set off the delicate white lace of Hannah’s dress from Anna McDonald Bridal, while the flowers from Chris Pearce evoked the beauty of an early summer day in an English country garden. The fantastic rendition of Norah Jones’ Come Away with Me while the couple signed the register caught the tone of the day brilliantly – classic, yet not boring; and romantic without being clichéd.
No detail was left uncoordinated, from the quirky Damien Rayfield wedding stationery and flowers on the Trevor Wadcock wedding cake, to the lids on the jam favours and the fun sweetie bar. The sun continued to shine as guests enjoyed canapés on the lawn while photographer Neil Crook and I made the most of the gorgeous grounds to add to the wedding video Poundon House and album. The skill of toastmaster Adrian Newell ensured the reception flowed as smoothly as the ceremony, and before long guests were getting down to the sounds of Watt4.
Apart from the weather and the elegant Poundon House wedding venue, highlights were the guard of honour provided by the guests as they lined the path and showered the newlyweds with rose petal confetti, and the relaxed fun vibe from a group of family and friends who clearly couldn’t have been happier for Hannah and Jason. It was a delight to have been able to film them on their special day.
